Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the isnote - Island Notes app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by isnote Development Team (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a paid one-time App Store purchase. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application does NOT collect any information when you download and use it.

Data Storage

  • All your data (notes/tags, quick phrases/templates, display settings, and related preferences) is stored only on your device locally
  • If you enable iCloud, your data will sync to your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit
  • We do not use any servers or cloud storage services of our own
  • We do not collect, transmit, or process any user data

We Do Not Collect Any Information

  • We do not collect any type of user information
  • We do not collect any device information
  • We do not collect any usage data
  • We do not collect any personally identifiable information
  • We do not use analytics or tracking services

No Data Processing

Since we do not collect any information, we cannot:

  • Contact you with important information or marketing promotions
  • Process any personally identifiable information
  • Retain any user data on our servers

Third Party Access

We do not transmit any data to external services.

  • No aggregated or anonymized data is transmitted
  • We do not share any information with third parties
  • We do not use any analytics or tracking services
  • The only external service we use is Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) for optional data sync (which you control)
  • Local notifications for scheduled island expiry are delivered on your device only

App Store Purchase

isnote is sold as a one-time paid download on the App Store:

  • Purchase Status: Managed through Apple’s App Store, we do not directly access it
  • Payment Information: Completely processed by Apple, we do not store any payment information
  • No In-App Purchases: The Application does not offer subscriptions or additional in-app purchases
  • No Usage Statistics: We do not collect any usage data

Opt-Out Rights

Since we do not collect any information, there is nothing to opt out of. You can:

  • Delete your data by uninstalling the Application
  • Control your iCloud sync through the Application settings and your device settings

Data Retention Policy

We do not retain any user data on our servers.

  • Your data is stored only on your device
  • If you use iCloud, data retention follows Apple’s iCloud policy
  • To delete your data, simply uninstall the Application or delete it from your device

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children of any age.

Since we do not collect any information from any users, there are no children’s privacy concerns.

If you are a parent or guardian and your child uses isnote:

  • All data is stored only on your child’s device
  • If iCloud is enabled, data syncs to your child’s iCloud account
  • You can control your child’s data through device settings or iCloud management

Security

Since your data is stored only on your device:

  • Data security is protected by your device security settings
  • iCloud data is protected by Apple’s security measures
  • We cannot access your data, so there is no risk of data breach from our side

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of July 29, 2026

By using the Application, you acknowledge that:

  • We do not collect or process any of your information
  • Your data is stored only on your device and iCloud (if enabled)
  • You have complete control over your data
